Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2015 Couture
Back to haute couture
Yesterday marked a new beginning for Jean Paul Gaultier, since it was his first time on the runway leaving the pret-a-porter behind last September. Now, it was all about fresh starts as the designer celebrated his Haute Couture collection inspired by weddings. He titled the collection “61 Ways to Say Yes” as the opening bride wore a lace bomber and Naomi Campbell closed the show wrapped in cellophane and live orchids – what you would call a Gaultier type of a bridal bouquet. The line was all in white and black with a mix of dresses and tuxedos. We can not help but say “Yes!” to Gaultier this spring.
