ART
A James Turrell Retrospective
Now taking place in Canberra
James Turrell is a Californian artist that has used light as medium to play with the audience’s perception of space for his entire career. Now, a retrospective currently on display at the National Gallery of Australia until June features exempts from the major pieces in the artist’s career. The exhibition follows three successful shows throughout 2013 by the artist: LACMA, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston and Guggenheim in New York. Be sure to stop by the museum in case you happen to find yourself in Canberra. (p.s. advanced booking is essential so be sure to plan your visit in advance)
