The New Exhibition by Yves Saint Laurent

Set to take place at Fondation Pierre Berge.

A new exhibition at the Fondation Pierre Bergé in Paris shines the spotlight on Yves Saint Laurent's 1971 collection which was harshly criticized collection inspired by the styles of Nazi-occupied Paris. In collection you can see elegance of 40s —square shoulders, knee-length skirts, platform shoes, and exaggerated make-up. Not only all of the looks revealed in 1971 will be on display at the Fondation Pierre Bergé but also the original sketches drawn by the couturier for the haute couture line. La Collection du Scandale opens this Thursday and runs through July 19.
