A Closer Look at the “Objets Nomades” by Louis Vuitton

Now on display at the Salone del Mobile

1

Louis Vuitton had already given a sneak of their “Objets Nomades” collection a month before its official debut at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. With the fair giving its start, the maison is presenting the whole collection that fuses the concepts of design and travel – a question essential in the brand’s DNA. This year the collection hosts nine designers: Patricia Urquiola, Atelier Oi, Barber & Osgerby, Nendo, Campana Brothers, Gwenael Nicolas, Raw Edges, Damien Langlois-Meurinne and Maarten Baas. Each designer re-interpreted Louis Vuitton’s relationship to travel with unique objects. The 16-objects are now located at the Palazzo Bocconi and will be on display until the 19th of April. If you were ever in the need of a hammock or a wooden travel desk sealed with the Louis Vuitton monogram, this is the time to get a look at your object of desires.
