J.W. Anderson Resort 2016
For the love of frilled boots
Yesterday, Jonathan Anderson chose to take his collection to the Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge which hosts some of the most significant works of modern art together with domestic elements. The designer started off the presentation by stating that he wanted to show where his inspiration for the collection – making a statement for fashion meaning more than clothes. The pieces from the collection were more feminine than what we saw in the fall collection with puffed sleeves and William Morris prints. A collage of florals and blocks of color were also visible throughout the lively collection. J.W. Anderson is not making a statement for wearability but more about carrying art all around.
