Pierre Paulin Exhibition
"Paulin, Paulin, Paulin"
A truly exciting new Pierre Paulin exhibition where the French designer’s exceptional designs meet the best of the contemporary art is open at Galerie Perrotin in Paris. The exhibition features never-seen-before prototype pieces, the famous Déclive longchair made in 1966, futuristic undulations of Dune and the armchairs, tables and rugs designed for the Palais d'Ièna in 1985. What makes this exhibition even more special is that Galerie Perrotin showcases Paulin’s designs together with the works of reputable contemporary artists. From John De Andrea's wonderfully realistic nude, bronze sculpture posing on the Dune to photography with the Borne seats, the visitors can enjoy the works of a bunch of contemporary artists including César, Jesús Rafael Soto, Xavier Veilhan, KAWS and Laurent Grasso. The exhibition will run until October 19 December 2015.
