Hotel Grand Amour in Paris
Iconic Parisian Stay
For nearly a decade, the tiny Hôtel Amour in Paris lured a certain clientele with its disco balls, black walls and phallic furniture. This fall, André Saraiva is following Hotel Amour on rue Navarin with the opening of his Grand Amour hotel on rue de la Fidélité in Paris. Housed in a pre-Haussmannian, a Napoleon III-style building in the 10th Arrondissement with 44 rooms, building, the hotel carries all the charm of a Parisian home, with the arty twists that have become the French graffiti artist’s signature. Alongside the captivating aesthetic, Grand Amour hotel also boasts a late-night brasserie which can be enjoyed inside at the restaurant or in the coveted outdoor garden which oozes Parisian appeal. ‘‘You could literally never leave,’’ says André Saraiva, the graffiti artist, nightlife impresario and co-owner. Characterful and creative; your stay at Grand Amour hotel will undoubtedly lead to a lifetime of devotion.
