Designer Christmas Trees Unveiled In Paris
Chanel, Christian Dior, Stella McCartney and more
The designer’s Christmas trees celebrates its 20th year anniversary. In this event, an array of top designers have each unveiled unique Christmas tree designs for the Sapins de Noël event. Chanel, Stella Mccartney, Ungaro, Jean-Claude Jitrois, Nina Ricci and Jean Paul Gaultier are among the 33 designers who have created Christmas trees for a special auction that raised funds for Cancer Research. These one-of-a-kind Christmas trees are put on display for the general public to admire at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, then sold off at auction, with proceeds going to the AVEC Foundation for cancer research. The creations will be on display on Nov. 24 and 26 from noon to 6 p.m. CET at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Last year, the auction raised more than 70,000 euros, or around $75,374 at current exchange, for cancer research.
