Saint Laurent Unveils Its Largest Store in Tokyo
A Market With Potential
The largest Saint Laurent store ever is about to open its doors in Omotesando Strip, Tokyo. The three-floor flagship store is designed under the direction of the brand’s Creative Director Hedi Slimane in a minimalist style with marble floors and black and white coloring and accentuated with golden details and vintage furniture by the artists Jay Spectre and Gerrit Rietveld. The store will offer full line of men's and women's collections, leather goods and accessories and for the opening, two of the ten Saint Laurent surfboards designed together with Los Angeles-based artist Lucia Ribisi. "The opening of our largest flagship in Japan marks an important step in the development strategy of the brand, both globally and in a market that has been very receptive to Hedi Slimane's reform project for Saint Laurent since its start in 2012," said Francesca Bellettini, Saint Laurent's CEO.
